Jiantao Zai
Professor, Namibia University of Science and Technology
Introduction
Dr. Zai got his PhD in applied chemistry from SJTU (2012.10) and then worked with Prof. Donghai Wang in Pennsylvania State University (2012.11-2013.12). In Jan 2014, he joined SJTU and started his research on the construction of high efficient energy materials via rational designed nano-semiconductors and their junctions. With the guidance of semiconductor physics and synthetic chemistry, he has developed various heterojunctions, which show unique electrocatalytic activity on multiple electron transfer reactions, such as polysulfides and OER, significantly improved the performance of energy devices. With an H-index of 42, he has published 108 papers, and 8 papers were selected as ESI Highly Cited Papers. He was honored the first prize (No. 5) of Shanghai Natural Science (2015), and were selected in the Shanghai ChenGuang and Rising-Star Programs (2018).
