Two SJTU Alumnae Named Forbes China Top 20 Up-and-Coming Businesswomen

Forbes China has recently published a list of the Top 20 Up-and-Coming Businesswomen, and two alumnae from Shanghai Jiao Tong University are on the list. Chen Xiao, who received her B.S. degree in Automation from SJTU in 1991, and Li Tingting, who received her B.S. degree in 2013 and M.S. degree in 2017 in Software Engineering, were both recognized for their impressive achievements in the business world.

Chen Xiao, Class of 1991, B.S. degree in Automation, SJTU, is currently the CEO of Shanghai Yaocheng Health Science & Technology Co., Ltd.

Before joining Yaocheng, Chen Xiao held leadership positions at Verily China (Alphabet’s life science arm) and the Engineering Site Lead of Google Shanghai. She started her career as a software engineer in the Bay Area in 2005.

Yaocheng Health Science & Technology is committed to creating a world-leading new generation of clinical research SaaS platforms, using technologies like cloud computing, big data, and AI to empower the data and operation management system of life science research and development. It aims to ensure the consistency of clinical data, improve operational efficiency, control cost input, and accelerate the commercialization of innovative drugs and new medical devices. The company has secured significant financing in recent years, with over 100 million RMB and tens of millions of dollars in Series A and A+ funding in 2021 and 2022, respectively.

Li Tingting, B.S. degree (Class of 2013) and M.S. degree (Class of 2017) in Software Engineering, SJTU, is the co-founder and CTO of Qingflow.

She has worked in Teambition, Daocloud, Cisco, and other enterprises. She has been deeply involved in the research and development of entrepreneurship projects in enterprise service, accumulating rich experience in enterprise service business and technology. Li Tingting has been included in Hurun China Under the 30s To Watch 2020 and the Forbes China 30 Under 30 2020 List.

Introduction of the Company

Qingflow originated from Li Tingting and her partners’ campus entrepreneurship, which aimed to develop lightweight process collaboration software and to help the public get access to the product of software engineering. Through Qingflow, users can create enterprise management systems without code by “dragging and dropping” like building blocks, “making everyone a developer”. As the first batch of codeless benchmark enterprises in China, Qingflow has served more than 500,000 domestic and foreign enterprises to complete digital transformation and upgrading for eight years since its establishment, including CCTV, State Grid, China Guangdong Nuclear Power Corporation, Ping An Group, Foxconn and Honeywell, etc. In July 2021, Qingflow completed a Series B investment worth hundreds of millions from Qiming Venture Partners and other institutions.
