Ding Kuiling appointed as President of Shanghai Jiao Tong University

Recently, the Central Committee approved the appointment of Ding Kuiling as the President (Vice Minister level) and Deputy Party Secretary of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Lin Zhongqin will no longer hold the positions of President and Deputy Party Secretary of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. On February 21st, Shanghai Jiao Tong University held a video conference for faculty and staff. Peng Jinhui, Deputy Minister of the Organization Department of the Central Committee, announced the Central Committee's decision and delivered a speech. Wang Jiayi, member of the Party Group of the Ministry of Education and Vice Minister, and Liu Duo, Deputy Mayor of Shanghai, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Yang Zhenbin, Secretary of the Party Committee of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, presided over the meeting.

Profile Of Ding Kuiling

Ding Kuiling, born in March 1966, is a postgraduate and holds a Ph.D. in Science. He is a member of the Communist Party of China, a professor, and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He previously served as the director of the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Executive Vice President (Bureau-level) of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
