The 2025 Shanghai Jiao Tong University Freshmen Sports Culture Festival – Football Carnival & Adidas Football Campus Day will be held on November 30!
French football legend and Adidas brand ambassador Zinedine Zidane, together with rising star of the Chinese National Football Team Kuai Jiwen, will be present on campus to share a football celebration with SJTU students and faculty.

French football legend, Adidas Brand Ambassador
Date of Birth: June 23, 1972
Career Highlights:
• During his playing career, he won the FIFA World Player of the Year award three times (1998, 2000, 2003) and the 1998 Ballon d'Or, making him one of the few players to achieve football’s “Grand Slam.” He made 108 appearances for the French national team, scoring 31 goals, and helped France win the 1998 FIFA World Cup and the UEFA Euro 2000 championship.
• As a coach, he led Real Madrid to three consecutive UEFA Champions League titles (2016, 2017, 2018), becoming the first manager in the Champions League era to successfully defend the title and win three in a row.
• After retiring, he has been actively involved in charity work and served as a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador for 15 years.
• In 2018, he made his first personal visit to China, traveling to four cities: Shanghai, Hangzhou, Beijing, and Guangzhou.
Kuai Jiwen
Rising star of the China Men’s National Football Team; Midfielder for Shanghai Port F.C.
Date of Birth: February 28, 2006 (19 years old)
Career Highlights:
• Selected for the China U17 Men’s National Team for the first time in 2022
• Appeared in the group stage of the 2023 AFC U17 Asian Cup and scored a goal against Australia
• Top scorer of the 2024 inaugural National Youth “Three Major Ball Games” Football Tournament, leading the Shanghai team to the final
• Recorded 2 goals and 1 assist across four matches in the 2025 AFC U20 Asian Cup
• Made his first-team debut for Shanghai Port F.C. in the 2025 season
• Made his senior national team debut on July 7, 2025

Reservation opens: 12:00, Wednesday, November 26.
Slots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

This event is for SJTU students, faculty, and staff only. Admission qualifications cannot be transferred once the reservation is confirmed. Real-name verification via QR code scanning on the “My SJTU” APP will be conducted at the venue entrance.
Entrance Instructions
1. The event is only open to SJTU students, faculty, and staff who have made a successful reservation in advance. Attendees must scan the QR code via the “My SJTU” APP, complete real-name verification, and pass the security check before entering.
2. Please cooperate with the security check at the entrance. Backpacks, bottled water, and coloured beverages are not allowed inside. Items that may disrupt the event or pose safety hazards, such as controlled knives, flammable or explosive materials, and other dangerous objects, are strictly prohibited. This includes (but is not limited to): sharp objects, lighters, matches, speakers, flagpoles, banners, and signs.
3. After entering, please follow the guidance of staff and volunteers to take your designated seat. Do not leave your seat or walk around without reason during the event.
4. Spectators must follow stadium rules, maintain order, practice civil behaviour, and help create a healthy and respectful event atmosphere.
5. Smoking, spitting, and damaging public facilities are strictly prohibited.
Do not litter items such as fruit peels, paper scraps, or chewing gum.
6. Any form of verbal abuse or attack toward players, coaches, or referees is strictly forbidden.
7. If any of the above rules are violated, the organizer reserves the right to ask you to leave the venue.
8. In case of an emergency, please follow the instructions of on-site staff and evacuate safely.
9. Please keep your personal belongings secure at all times.
10. The final interpretation right of this event belongs to the organizer.
