The Autonomous Robot Laboratory (AR Lab) provides advanced facilities for the research and development of robotics. Our mission is to conduct the basic research related to mobile robot, robotic manipulators, collective robotics and computer vision, etc., and to explore novel applications of robot technologies in medical service, health care, energy industry, aerospace engineering, etc. The AR Lab has 6 faculty members, including three full professors, one associate professor and two assistant professors, and about thirty researchers, including technician, postdoctoral fellows, Ph.D. students and Master students. The research in the Autonomous Robot Laboratory has been supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), National High-tech R&D Program (863 Program) and ITER Program from the MOST, and Shanghai Municipal Government, etc. The AR Lab collaborates with many partners including the world leading robotics research institutions and industrial companies.
