State Energy Smart Grid R&D Center (Shanghai)

The Smart Grid Simulation Center (SGSC) is founded by the Power System Dynamic Simulation Research Group of SJTU, now located at the State Energy Smart Grid R&D Center( Shanghai). The SGSC is dedicated to the study of power system modeling and the development of simulation software with independent intellectual property rights. The SGSC has more than 10 faculty members, and has undertaken lots of projects, including the NSFC Projects, the “863” Programs, the National Key R&D Programs, the Key Program for International S&T Cooperation Projects of China, etc, and won the second prize of National Scientific and Technological Progress Award, the first prize of Shanghai Scientific and Technological Progress Award, the first prize of Shanghai, etc. At present, the SGSC is engaged in the lab construction of the Sino-Italian Joint Center for Energy Transition Modeling & Simulation (ETMS) and the Ubiquitous Power Internet of Things (UPIOT).
