The overall orientation of “the Key Laboratory of Power Transmission and Power Conversion Control of the Ministry of Education” is to carry out basic research on the application of power transmission, operation and guarantee, large-capacity power conversion and control, aiming at the frontier of electrical engineering discipline and focusing on the urgent scientific and technological problems in the field of energy, in accordance with the major needs of national energy development, and to form a number of independent innovations with international influence. The results will partly lead the future technology of power energy, build a first-class domestic research platform, build a united and cooperative research team with international competitiveness, and provide theoretical support and technical guidance for national energy development and technological progress of the power industry.
