From Dec 11-12, the 2024 International University Museum Director’s Forum unveils at the SJTU Qian Xuesen Library & Museum. The Director’s Forum is a further development of the collaboration between UMAC the International Committee of ICOM for University Museums and Collections and SJTU. It is a specialized meeting focused on university museum leadership and sustainability and is an opportunity to deeply investigate issues of current relevance to the university museum sector globally. The theme of the forum this year is technology empowerment and interdisciplinary integration.
Speakers from University of Strasbourg, The University of Hong Kong, University of Sydney, Technical University Dresden, Fudan University, Sichuan University, Shanghai University, SJTU and UMAC share and present their unique practices in their respective university museums.
