The Yuan lab studies the plasticity change of neural circuits during addiction. We use animal electrophysiological records and neural circuit research, combined with human brain electrophysiological imaging and a variety of neural regulation techniques to explore changes in brain plasticity accompanying diseases. The experimental techniques we used include patch clamp electrophysiological recording of isolated brain slices, in vivo multichannel electrophysiological recording, optogenetics, histomorphology, single cell sequencing, behavior, non-invasive neural control techniques (TMS, tDCS, tACS), electroencephalography (EEG, ERP, TEP), brain imaging (MRI, PET), etc.
