The Center for Viticulture and Enology (CVE) was established at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2016 by Professor Jiang Lu （National “Thousand Talent Plan”, “Zhi-yuan” Endowed Chair Professor. The center houses the state-of-the-art facilities, including the biggest germplasm vineyard of Southern China, fully equipped molecular biology laboratory, experimental fermentation cellar and the wine culture and tasting center. CVE roster includes scientists with overseas training experience and maintains the collaborations with world well renowned institutions. CVE is now collaborate with University of Adelaide for training the students to obtain the dual degrees.
