Biological Oceanography Laboratory focuses on major scientific and technological issues such as the sustainability of global marine ecosystems and the value of marine resources. Both field and lab study are conducted on the dynamics of global marine ecosystems, ecosystem response and adaptation to climate change, Southern Ocean ecosystems and biological resources, and protection and restoration of coastal ecosystems. Its development goal is to obtain research results with important international impact in the fields of bio-oceanography and marine ecology, to provide countries with protection of the marine ecological environment, and rational use of marine biological resources for scientific basis, and technical support. Our lab provide a facility for scientific research, talent training and academic exchange with important international influence in the fields of oceanography and ecology.
