Institute of Image Processing and Pattern Recognition is affiliated to the School of Electronics, Information, and Electrical Engineering, and is also a part of the MOE Key Laboratory for System Control and Signal Processing. The institute has taken a series important projects and has been working in image processing, pattern recognition, medical image analysis and bioinformatics.
