Green Building Materials and Modern Building Structures Laboratory in Shanghai Jiao Tong University was established in 2012. There are 5 full-time teachers, 3 oversea visiting professors and 2 postdoctoral fellows, all of whom have oversea PhD degrees. The laboratory is mainly engaged in research work on new green building materials, prefabricated building structures and industrialization of buildings, digital and intelligent construction innovation platforms. It has published nearly 100 SCI papers in the past 5 years, gained 7 international scientific research honors and 3 domestic research awards, host 3 National Natural Science Fund projects, 3 sub-projects of national key research and development plan, achieved 8 national/provincial talent plans, and 6 other research projects at the provincial level. It collaborated with companies to obtain more than 10 industrial projects, totally undertaking more than 12 million RMB research grants.
